Just May
Jeremy and Kim went off and have returned from their Alaskan cruise holiday Okay I am going to word for spelling so will be back shortly with the letter. Wow not nearly as many spelling errors as I thought! So back to thoughts. Jeremy and Kim had a great time, good weather, and not too wavy trip. (I am sure once they get back in the grove we will here from them on this) Wyatt and Tina are in Michigan. (Once they return and get back in the grove we will here from them on this also) Jeremy and Kim got me a dolphin on a key chain and the dolphin changes color when in the sun it goes from clear to dark blue. They also got me an Alaskan key chain with clasp to hook onto things plus an Alaskan deck of cards. For those who don’t know I like key chains and dolphins also sea horses which is the type of key chain that Kim got for her self it goes purple in the sun. Here is a cheap beg, maybe Tina and Wyatt will read this and I can tell you about my Michigan key chain. For those who don't know both of Tina's parents are from Michigan and most of her family is still back there.
I am still trying to get the rental house done and on the market and get ready to go to Amy’s for a bit more then 2 months. Amy is taking taking summer block and Thomas will be teaching summer block once he gets back from Mexico, where he is attending (I think a math conference. But something to do with Math anyway.) I will be sort of watching the grandkids. Of course the grandkids and I are planning our fun. I got my license renewed so we can steal away in the van once the parents are off for the day.
Tippy passed away on 28, May. Jeremy came over to do the grave site for me. I really appreciated the support from Jeremy and Kim. Also Amy who I bugged by talking to her on the phone.I appreciated their time and Jeremy's digging expertise very much. Tippy was a great friend, loyal and a good guard. He even alerted the neighbor boy, Erin (Erin is the one who watched Tippy when I was away. He gets off his school bus and walks right past my driveway which is how Tippy let him know something was wrong) to the fact that my next door neighbor (the house who’s drive way is right next to my driveway) was being robbed. I learned later from next door neighbor this was the 4th time for their house being broken into, but this time the robbers were scared off by combination of Tippy’s barking, a boy walking away with tippy holding his collar and then Tippy, the boy and a man coming back into my yard and writing stuff down on a tablet while looking at their truck, yes license plate number description of truck, description of the people coming out of the house description of the TV one was holding and a stereo that two others had parts of. Possibly also the fact that they could here sirens start up about when Tippy and friends returned. They even had Olalla on the news, that they had caught the group who had been breaking into the houses around here and found a lot of the stolen things. Perhaps one should point out once you steal something it does not automatically turn into money you actually have to spend time selling the stuff. Oh did I mention Erin and his dad (yes, the man he came back to my yard with) are my home teachers. Our father knows what he is doing as I had met the dad sort of but once they became my home teachers, Erin worries if the gate over drive way is open, if Tippy is not at the gate watching him walk by on his way home from school. They became my Home Teachers in November and they caught the robbers in December sortly before Christmas. For those who don't know I was at Amy's so Erin was watching Tippy for me.
That is about it for May, I need to get busy, stopping mail and getting Nathan’s scriptures from dad, that Janie picked up for me while she was at Brent’s wedding, and getting to the rental to work. I will be scrapping tape off the hardwood floors. Not fun.
Bye Karri

Happy Easter One Day Late!
Hi Family!
Happy Easter one day late. With everything else going on yesterday I didn't get the chance to post!
Well, the Washington State "branch" (Grandpa, Janie, Karri, Wyatt, Tina, Janie's kids, Jeremy, and me) all got together last night for a great dinner together. I swear I married into the coolest family on the planet. The food was awesome, the company was awesome, it was just awesomeness all around. Jeremy and Wyatt talked computers, and Tina and I talked clothes and shoes. I'm lucky I have Tina around to keep me in style. :-D
And Amy, yes, "Jazzercising" is a word...though I don't know if anyone's really used it as a term since about, oh, 1987. LOL It is a funny name, though, isn't it?
Happy day everyone!

Now This Will Go To The Right Place???...
Thanks Kim and Jer for moving our blog to the right spot. Somehow we hacked their's instead of this one. We don't have our own blog, because basically, we are boring people. But we will try to add a few thoughts to the family one every now and then. Just to keep you apprised that we are all alive over here. Tina: Those cookies sound awesome. I am going to have to bake some now. Kim: Keep up the great work on the Jazzercising. (is that a word?) Anywho...love you all. Spring Break officially ends tonight. :(

WOOT! This is the most awesome blog on the planet.
Hey everyone! I'm glad to see the new blog is a success so far. Thank you for your posts--let's keep it up! This is so much fun! And I must say, even though it's not a hawk, I totally dig my choice of background.
Chicks, man...

From the Tina of the Face Variety
Sooo, I got myself out of jury duty by saying I need to find a job. (Which is true...) And since it would have been "approximately" seven weeks that would make it hard to find a job in a timely manner.....
The case was a triple homicide and a robbery charge I believe. I am sooo sooo glad I didn't have to see those pictures and hear all about how it happened. I mean I get freaked out enough just watching Law and Order! How much worse would it be if it were real life!!?
Mostly it was just a really boring day. I did make friends with this girl named Siri...we were the only people there under the age of at least 30...everyone else was very fuddy-duddy. We ended up doing a Thomas Kincade puzzle that was only missing 2 pieces!! They can't afford full puzzles in that little room they stuck us for hours apparently...
Anyway, hope you all are doing grand, I won't have anything exciting to write about anymore...oh well!

So Here I Am
Hey you guys! I am now a contributing member of this family. (haha) Tomorrow I get the wonderful *cough* privilege of going to jury summons in Kent. Hopefully they don't like me and I get thrown out early because the trial that they're picking for is estimated to last 7 weeks. And let me tell you, that is not how I want to spend my next seven weeks! And if I get to leave early I can go shopping which I am sure is way more fun than jury duty any day!
Hmm what else is new...not much really. I made totally "bomb" cookies tonight with my friend Hannah. They were oatmeal with almonds and craisins. And then in some we put chocolate chips, others we put white chocolate chips, then there were the peanutbutter milk chocolate swirled chips, and then some with all three flavors of chips. Man were they yummy. And only slightly over the top.
But now I just realized that the jeans I want to wear tomorrow aren't clean. (go me!) So I am off to do laundry....woohoo!

Spring Break in Oklahoma! (From The Milligans)
Hi everyone,
This one is actually from the Milligan family. They're doing very well and I wanted to make sure you all got to see it!
We've been having a great time with our spring break. The college is on the same schedule as the public schools, so we all have spring break together! We started out badly because Amy got Influenza B from Nathan just as the break started. He was just getting over that and strep! When we get sick, we get sick. Anyway, once the tamiflu started working, we started having fun. We got all the kids bedrooms cleaned out (even the scary closet just in case Heather or Josh is wondering!!) and caught up on 2 weeks of laundry. Now that Amy is in school, laundry seems to pile up. For some reason she does her Calculus homework before laundry. Go figure. On Tuesday we rented Enchanted and Nancy Drew from the RedBox. If you haven't discovered RedBox, you have to. They are outside of a lot of McDonald's and inside a couple of our Walmarts. Only $1 a night for a movie! Anyway, we covered up the window in our family room and turned it into a movie theater. We had all sorts of goodies they never have at the movies. Like brownies and icecream! We had a lot of fun. Two cute movies. The kids were able to get out their bikes and ride around on our street for most of yesterday, and we went to a friend's house for a picnic lunch. Today the kids raked up the leaves in the back yard. They filled 20 lawn and leaf bags! There are a lot of trees in and around our back yard. We were hugely entertained by our dog who dug two holes in the dirt part of our back yard. The dirt here is bright red, so it was hilarious seeing her full of red dirt. She is a cream colored dog, or was. We spent the rest of the day riding bikes and playing basketball. Friday we have some old BYU friends coming to visit us from Kansas. Amy and Thomas were recently extended new callings at church. Thomas is the new Scoutmaster, but when the bishop asked him to serve he said "Cubmaster" so when it was announced that he would be SCOUTmaster, Thomas was a little shell shocked. When asked about the discrepancy, the bishop said, "Is there a difference?" He's new. Amy has been asked to be the Primary President! Gasp! She never thought she'd be asked to do something like that. She's starting to get excited, though. She has another week before she starts, so she has time to prepare herself. Our biggest excitement this year has been David turning 12! He was given the Aaronic Priesthood on March 9th. Amazing. He passed the sacrament for the first time this last Sunday. It was really a special experience.
